Gotera Market

Spending my time in El Salvador at the moment, there are many things to explore. Pretty sights and things are waiting around every corner. Last Saturday we've been to Gotera where I could take this pictures.
I've been wondering lately how insecure this world can be. I was talking to a girl, I got to know here in El Salvador and she told me about her family and her childhood. Now 22 years old, she was born in Honduras during the war and grew up without her father who fell at war when she was one year old.
I could hardly imagine that people beeing slaughtered while I grew up in a save place I could call home. People over here faught so hard for at least having something they can call home, while we take something like this for granted.
Made me feel pensive and sad for nearly the whole day and only a typical salvadorian dinner with a cold beer, a beautiful sight and a relaxing chat cleared up my mind.

Sisters

Beauty
Whenever I look into your face
It shines through
Your impregnable will, your strenght
your undoubtful love, your everlasting constancy
I would count the stars, would catch a wave
for you

My first entry is dedicated to one of the most important persons in my life.My little sister.
Beeing all, tired, giggly and in desperate need of pudding, we've invented the word 'Pussind' which became term of endearment for both of us.
Sitting on my bed, watching TV and screaming for Pudding was (and is) one of our favourite things to do. Unfortunately my sister's so far away at the moment going about her designestudies in Berlin.
I miss her dreadfully and I'm longing to read from her every day. She has been so excited with univerity starting and moving to Berlin that I had to wait my time.
But today I got mail and she's doing very well, starting her courses and projects, meeting new people and decorating her apartment.
Still I'm going to miss her every minute, being my inspiration, my partner, my muse, my lovely little sister (well she still is)...
